At some point of their lives, kids want to make their own money. There are several ways for kids to make money. If you want to earn some extra spending cash as a kid, choose something that you like doing and are good at. Here are 5 different ways for kids to make money:

1. Try taking pet pictures. Kids can make provide a nice photo service for people that love talking pictures of their pets. There are a lot of people who are crazy over their pets and this is the people that you should approach. You will need a good camera, a backdrop for the pictures, a stand for the camera and some photo editing software. Advertise your-self by making posters and informing all your friends.

2. Are you good at repairing things? Most kids have bikes and these bikes will break sometime. Try putting up a bike repair shop in your garage. Charge a fee for simple repairs like filling tires with air or oiling the chain. If you have extra money, you can do bigger repairs like replacing the brakes.

3. Assist old people. There are probably a lot of old people in your town. Most of them can't do everything in their yard or house that they used to. They will need help in mowing, trimming, landscaping, racking leaves, scooping snow, cleaning their house, organizing their garage, and many other chores as well. Befriend them and offer your assistance. You will get paid for your services!

4. Another way for kids to make money is by shoveling snow or raking leaves for other people. It's not only the old people that need their yards cleaned.

5. Make greeting cards. If you are talented in the arts or good with the computer, then you can try making greeting cards and selling them. You can make the cards by hand or on the computer
